This Blog is about science fiction and fantasy and is being produced by Sean Williams and Robert Arnold.
I (Robert) will be writing a critique of sci-fi films and television from 1970 onwards. I choose this particular time period because of the upsurge of interest in the genre in media due to the American moon missions. My interest in the subject began when I was taken to the cinema to see the film “Robinson Crusoe on Mars” (1964) when I was six years old. I hope to enthuse others with the subject, although it being a popular theme I may be preaching to the converted, by co-writing this blog. I will attempt to point out little known facts on films and television series that may not be generally known.
I (Sean) will be writing about the final fantasy game series, its history and common themes for the fantasy aspect of the Blog. I decided to use this game series as my topic for the Blog because I like the series and thought it would be interesting to write an article about it, an interest that is doubtlessly shared by many others and it’s for these fans (new and experienced alike) that i write this Blog either to fill you in on some of the finer details or just to point out some things others may not have noticed and, who knows, maybe reading this will convince someone else to have a look at the series.
